What Payback is

Payback is a B2B decision-intelligence product operated by PG·Intel LLC. Payback models post-MBA financial outcomes across programs, career tracks, and cities, and produces a branded “MBA ROI Decision Brief” for use by admissions teams, scholarship committees, career offices, and admissions consulting firms (“Customers”).

Not financial or legal advice

Payback is informational and advisory. Outputs are modeled projections, not guarantees of future income, employment, or outcomes. Payback is not a licensed financial advisor, tax advisor, attorney, or immigration counselor. Customers and end-recipients of the Decision Brief should consult appropriately licensed professionals for financial, tax, legal, or immigration decisions.

Who may use Payback

Payback is licensed to business entities (firms, schools, sponsor organizations) under a subscription or pilot agreement. Individual consumer use is not supported. Accounts created with personal email domains may be suspended at our discretion.

Customer data and client confidentiality

Customers may upload or enter information about their own clients (name, email, background, financing). This data is stored on our infrastructure solely to operate the Services for the Customer. We do not sell, share, or otherwise monetize Customer or end-client data. Customers are responsible for obtaining any required consents from their clients.

Pilot and subscription terms

Pilot engagements are free for the period specified in writing. Following a pilot, continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew at the agreed cadence until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Data sources and accuracy

Payback aggregates data from public sources including school employment reports, BLS, MSA cost-of-living indices, and Federal Reserve rate series. We strive for accuracy but make no warranties. Customers should independently verify any figure before making a financial decision based on it.

White-label briefs and co-branding

Firm-tier and above Customers may upload their logo and select a brand color for the Decision Brief. Customers warrant that they own or are licensed to use the uploaded marks. The phrase “Powered by Payback” appears in the methodology footer of every brief on all plans except Enterprise.

Intellectual property

The Payback platform, including its data model, scoring methodology, interface design, and branded output format, is proprietary to PG·Intel LLC. Customers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to generate and distribute Decision Briefs to their own clients solely for the purpose of rendering advisory services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy, or resell the platform's data or outputs in bulk; (b) reverse-engineer or probe the Services without written permission; (c) use the Services to violate any law; or (d) interfere with another Customer's access.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PG·Intel LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid to us by the Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim.
